Welcome to Allan Shivers Library and Museum

Summer is on its way!

We are hard at work getting our summer reading program ready for the children of Tyler County. We thank all the businesses that have donated but we are still taking donations. We work hard every year to bring this FREE event to the kids age 4-13. Our presentations will include games with the Texas forestry service, fun with the Woodville Police, and animal Olympics from the Ellen Trout zoo. Days will be June 8th at 10 am -- June 15th at 10 am -- June 22nd at 2 pm. On June 29th everyone that has attended two of the three presenters will be receiving rewards and a party day. The best prizes will be given to the best readers in each group, read to me and I can read.
