Age Requirements

The Reading Program is open to children 5-13 years old.

We will host STORY TIME! every other Thursdays for our 2-4 year old children. 

 

How Do I Sign Up For The Summer Reading Program? 

It’s Easy!  All you have to do is arrive early on June 6th and sign up or sign up after our guest speaker finishes. 

 

What Do I Need To Bring To The Summer Reading Program? 

ONLY yourself, your passion for reading,

and your weekly reading log.

 

What Does It Cost?

NOTHING 

 *To receive a completion certificate and be eligible for the rewards you must have attended at least 2 of the 3 presentations and signed in for those days.

                                Tax season is coming to a close .... Have you filed? We will have the basic forms in the all until May 1st.

To find out more visit the IRS website. We will have tax forms (1040, 1040EZ, snf 1040A) in the hallway and the instruction booklets.

The Allan Shivers Museum has elegant gowns of Mrs. Shivers and their daughter, authentic Victorian front parlor room with furnishings of the period, an African Safari room, and original political cartoons from Allan Shivers time in office.

Monday - Friday 9-5 (computers shut off at 4:45)

Saturday 10-2 (computers shut off at 1:45)

Sunday - CLOSED

CLOSED - New Years Eve and New Years Day

 Museum hours

Mon.--Fri.    9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. & 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

Closed: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
