Our Services that we provide to the public

Internet  Services

Our Internet computers are strictly for educational purposes and may only be used by those who have signed a contract. There is a 2 hour limit unless there are people waiting, then the time limit is 30 minutes.(If more time is needed for tests, or classes, arrangements can be made at front desk.)  The library staff can offer basic instructions to patrons in the use of the internet.  However due to liability issues the staff is not instruct users on internet browsing or with filling out online job applications.

PERSONAL DEVICES AND WIFI USAGE

The library staff cannot manipulate personal devices such as iphones, ipads and laptops that have connection problems.  Some devices do not automatically search for an internet connection.  It is the patron's responsibility to be sure that their device is set up to receive a connection before attempting to connect to the library's WIFI.  There is no password to connect to the WIFI.  To connect to the free wifi you must go and accept terms and conditions before it will allow you to get online. Connections can be made from outside the library 24 hours (even after hours or any day the library is closed).

SENIOR CITIZEN SERVICES

The library staff/volunteer visits several area nursing homes in order to serve the needs of our area seniors.  These visits are done on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.  The staff/volunteer collects information regarding the interest of each senior patron and checks in/checks out materials according to the patron's wishes.
